I stayed in Cottage #11 Mulberry for a long weekend visiting friends. The Nature Coast Inn and Cottages was nice gem to find off the beaten trail. The Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Amenities advertised were great. I used the heated screened in pool with friends visiting me at the Cottage. Dog friendly so I was allowed to have my dog with me on my stay. The on-site restaurant is open from 7am to 2 pm. While I was there with friends, we all had excellent food and service there... The maple infused pulled pork sandwich made there was delicious and is well worth the trip for the locals to eat there anytime... They had a great Breakfast menu too.. I would definitely recommend and stay there again. The only issue i ran into was not being able to figure out how to work the roku TV... but ended up too busy to ask for help... I didn't really miss it and nice to just enjoy the quiet evenings. Thank you Connie for a great weekend at your Inn & Cottage!!!
I absolutely adore this place! Connie has done a magnificent job on personalizing each cottage in room as if it was your home. The towels are soft. The water pressure is good. The grounds are beautiful. I liked it so much that when I saw that they were having a Womens Retreat when I was there the first time I booked the Womens Retreat for my sister and I had to go this past weekend. The pool is heated. There’s a place to have a bonfire grill. Honestly, you don’t even need to leave the place unless you wanted to and it’s conveniently located to places like cedar key isn’t too far away Crystal Springs and Homosassa. This is now a go to place if I want to do anything in that area
Nature Coast Inn, and Cottages: Wow! There is much care and detail put into this property. From the outdoor game and reading room, fire pit, many sitting areas on the property, It’s simply charming. My room was clean and spacious, and quiet.Someone has a green thumb because the grounds were lovely with several planters and flowers. I really enjoyed Lollipops, the café. Food was priced very reasonable, and it was definitely homemade, so. delicious! Please be aware of its location as it’s in a very, very small town with limited options to eat out and lollipops is only open until 2 PM. At breakfast, however, I was able to order an entrée to go and I reheated it in my room for dinner. Worked out great.
We've stayed there twice and the room was comfortable and cozy. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. It was clean and everything worked properly. We had breakfast next door and it was excellent. We liked that it was pet friendly.
We loved our stay at this homey inn! Communications was prompt re: checkin. The room and bathroom spotless. The location ideal to Crystal River. The cafe is perfect for breakfast, lunch. The upstairs inn rooms require climbing a flight of outdoor stairs, so if mobility impaired, would recommend booking a cottage or inquiring on a main floor room. Our room had a sunroom attached, lovely. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot convenient. Looking forward to returning and using pool!
There was a lot to do on the Inn’s grounds. A pool, a fire pit with wood ready to be burned, a grill if you chose to do some BBQing while there. Even a game room, where someone had started a jigsaw puzzle. Anyone could work on it as they passed through that area. I have always loved the “Mom and Pop” hotels and motels over the big chains. They are hard to come by. We are lucky this property is here in Levy County. So, if you are looking for a getaway for some peace, relaxation, and simple pleasures of easier days, I recommend Nature Coast Inn and Cottages. Oh, and Lollipop's Cafe and Bakery is on the property too and it is fantastic.
Great place to stay! The mini fridge in the room was the coolest thing ever. Room was clean & cozy. No issues at all. My only suggestion is maybe a light for the upstairs hallways that turns off & on based on movement because the hall light shines right the door BUT not major, just a thought. The café food was super good. The hash browns were the best I've ever had.
Came here solo for solitude, spiritual growth, and to disconnect from technology and everyday life.Stayed 4 nights. Connie has a true servants heart! What a wonderful little property she has here. If you're looking for a fancy place, keep on looking… If you're looking for friendly, off the beaten path, with old Florida comforts. This is it! I will 100% be coming for a return visit!
